FAQ
Do you offer military discount?
YES! I appreciate the sacrifices of our military members, veterans and their families for our country so I offer 10% discount for each of their desired session.
What is your method of payment?
I do accept cash but it'll be better if you pay me through Venmo, PayPal or bank transfer. I do require deposits for each session to secure your spot.
When do clients get their photos?
I try my best to send edited photos within two weeks. I let client choose their best photos before I edit them. I send them through an online gallery where you can download them easily.
How should we dress for our family session?
Depending on your session type and theme, we’ll discuss some ideas for outfits and colors. Generally I recommend not dressing up the entire family in the same type of clothes and colors as it doesn’t really compliment the end result, your photos.
What if our house isn’t very photogenic?
Your house is your home, that’s what makes it special and of sentimental value. Yet, if you feel more comfortable in picking an outdoor location, that's perfectly fine.
Do you shoot small weddings?
I do elopements and small weddings. You just need to message me attest two months in advance to secure your spot and so we can have more time planning your dream wedding. Price will be different depending on how many guests you have and how many hours you want me to cover. Message me for more details and we can discuss how much it will cost.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Kansas - Fort Riley and and it's surrounding areas. I do travel but I charge for a travel fee.
Do you work on Sundays?
No. Sundays are set aside for family and church so I don't work on that day.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Of course, no need to worry about that. Most people feel a bit anxious around the camera, and that’s completely normal. I like capturing real emotions and so my clients feel more relaxed and completely forget that I'm there.
Do you offer mini sessions? When?
Yes! But because I only do part-time photography for now, I usually offer mini sessions during the Fall season. Follow me on IG @mariakaleiahphotos for holiday mini sessions. 10% discount is only offered for my regular rate (mini holiday sessions excluded).
